WOMEN’S AID SENEGAL was set up in 2020 to support women and children in Senegal (West Africa) living in rural areas to contribute in the socio economic development of the country, reduce poverty and gender inequality.

We believe that each child has the right to education, live in a stable and safe environment to help them reach their full potential.

Women’s Aid Senegal‘s mission is to inform, protect, mentor, coach, empower and sponsor women from poorer backgrounds to fullfill their potential and transform their lives positivelLy.

• We aim to reduce considerably or stop women domestic violence/abuse in Senegal by standing together with other groups/Associations sharing the same vision.
• Protect women and children rights by providing legal advise/professional  and high quality support 
• Promote women entrepreneurship and empowerment through education and training.
• Introduce  modern techniques to facilitate their journey, lead them to new opportunities to reach their full potential. 
• Provide financial and technical support to children and women from poorer backgrounds to be educated at higher level and help to develop their talents and skills to set up their own businesses and create more employment for other women.
• Our objectives are to create more jobs for women by 2030, set-up more community  centers in other regions of Senegal providing quality trainings and skills to assist them achieve their goals and reduce poverty.
• Assisting women to access social housing opportunities 
• Women of the diaspora also will not be left out and will receive support to organise their return to home and assistance with their legal matters in Senegal.  We will also share useful information to facilitate their integration.

• Identify individual needs of vulnarâble families in the local community.
• Provide and share information about women rights and children.
• Promote education and training specially for science subjects and Information technology.
• Empower women and create opportunities for financial independence.
• Encourage  networking for agencies or individuals sharing the same interests
• Target talented girls from poorer backgrounds and sponsor them to carry on education and reach their full potential 
• Provide emotional support and counselling to those in need in the local community 
• Promote good health and well-being by organising seminars, distribution of leaflets, sports activities and general health check-up.
• Making donations of food, clothing, equipment, educational items to vulnerable families.
• Building basic shelters in various regions of the country to provide care and high quality support to people in need.
